Colored pencil, micron pen, and white gel pen on tonal paper

9"x11"

Master artist: John J. Audubon

Current artist: Alan Woollet

This piece does not fit the parameters of my inquiry question, so it is functioning as an experimental piece. It allowed me to develop my colored pencil skills, and learn how to achieve as much detail as possible. I used my master and current artists as references for the feathers and shading on the owl. This is one of my favorite pieces, but if I were to re-do it, I would add a bit more detail in the eyes.

Support piece: Graphite, micron pen and white gel pen on tonal paper
