I referenced my master artist’s works to make the grass look realistic, and my current artist’s mushroom illustrations were good examples to look at for the structure of the Amanitas. I had trouble with the angle and perspective of the path, and if I were to re-do this piece, I would like to improve that. I also had trouble keeping the sky in the background even (where the colors change) and would have liked to have planned that out a bit more. I think I did a good job managing the different light sources, with the little glowing orbs being most of the light, but also having an out of sight light source.
